Planning - Action Plan for Pitch

When we delivered our pitches to the class we got some feedback which we could attend to, in order to make our idea on the Main Task better. Initially we had two idea's for our Main Task, therefore we had 2 pitches that we presented to the class. Here are some of the things we have found improvements for from our Pitch we delivered to the class:

• We had two ideas for our Main Task. One delivered by Barney (Ripple Effect) and one delivered by Zak (Coming). From what the class told us, we decided that Ripple effect would be the better idea to take forward and focus on for the rest of our Main Task.

• When we initially delivered the Pitch for Ripple effect, we still hadn't decided on a name for the film we were producing the opening for. We were torn between two ideas: Lionheart (Barney) or Ripple Effect (Elijah). From the feedback we got from the class we decided on the title Ripple Effect as that was the idea everyone preferred.

• We want to use the song "King and Lionheart" by Of Monsters and Men. If we will be able to use this song we need to get permission from the record company 'Republic Records'. It will be hard to get a response from the company but we are trying our best to get permission. If we do not get permission we have a back up plan for copyright free music which we can use in our Main Task instead.

• We need to ensure that we incorporate titles into our Main Task. To incorporate titles throughout our opening of the film the need to suit our genre and flow smoothly throughout. To fulfill effective titles we will try to make the font soft and clear to suit the romantic genre. As well as this they need to enter the film smoothly and exit smoothly as well.

We will make sure to attend these issues and improve them. Hopefully they will be achieved and shown when we create our opening to Ripple Effect.
